Inspirational Music

Hello B.. E.. A.. UUUUTIFUL people!!!! Hope things are all good. Just thought we'd post a few music videos that inspired us in our creation of our music.

Here's some of the artist we were listening to when we first started The Thirst when we couldn't even play our instruments.

Foo Fights

This whole album was getting banged repeatedly especially these two tracks. We would be shaking our no-fros to Low on a regular.

We love comedy and to laugh (who doesn't?) and as we learnt how to actually get a decent sound out of our instruments a lot of the songs we made up were just jokes. We had a song called "the last black
cowboy" and "there's never anything good to watch on a Wednesday" and the next band inspired those...

Tenacious D

The Greatest song in the world... Tribute!

Queens Of The Stone Age

Red Hot Chili Peppers

These two bands were (and still are) a BIG inspiration to us when we was first starting out.

We fooooking LOVE Hip-Hop... REAL Hip-Hop!!! Beside the obverse 2-Pac and Biggie albums the 36 chambers and doggy style album were big favorites in primary school and we battered listening to them which might explain some bad school reports. lol

Wu-Tang-Clan

Onyx

Snoop Doggy Dog

N.E.R.D

The reason why we love N.E.R.D is because it combined hard rocking guitars and rago rap lyrics

The Bar-Kays

We LOVE this video the outfits (the white afro lol), the stage (we wanna play there), the crowd (Look how many afros there are in the crowd) We want to recreate this vibe!

This video is to much jokes! Love this song! What a dramatic change the front man had made.

Cool & The Gang

Earth Wind & Fire

George Benson

Three of our biggest artist have got to be Bob Marley, Micheal Jackson and Jimi Hendrix. All over the world their music is respected and loved. Defiantly the level we want to take our music to. Their love for the human race and the world in which we inhabit is something that we have taken from them along with the power of words and melodies.

Bob Marley

Michael Jackson

Jimi Hendrix

Originally a bob Dylan song Jimi made it his own with screaming harmonised guitar solos and extremely memorable guitar riffs. Topped off with gritty blues/soul vocals which could only be delivered by Jimi which makes this one of our most inspirational songs.
